Steven is a Managing Director at ECA Partners, where he specializes in placing CFOs and senior finance leaders for private equity–backed companies. He partners primarily with mid-market and lower mid-market firms in manufacturing and industrials, while also bringing deep experience across consumer, distribution, technology, and services. Steven’s network includes U.S.-based finance executives with transaction expertise who are skilled at driving EBITDA growth and building scalable infrastructure. He earned a PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Tony is a Senior Director in ECA Partners’ Finance Practice, focused on value creation through CFO, VP of Finance, and Controller placements. He partners with private equity clients on senior Finance and Transformation leadership needs, including Strategy and Data & AI initiatives. His experience spans services, manufacturing, and consumer sectors, where he’s known for a thoughtful, people-centered approach to building high-performing finance teams. Tony holds a PhD from Northwestern University and was a Fulbright Scholar to Russia, where his research explored motivation and belonging during periods of economic transition.

Ethan is a Project Manager at ECA Partners engaged in the firm’s Finance Practice, where he partners with private-equity investors and portfolio executives to recruit CFOs and senior finance leaders. His work spans accounting, FP&A, and transformation roles that drive growth and operational discipline across sectors. Prior to joining ECA, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Bioethics and Global History at the University of Oxford. Ethan holds a PhD (DPhil) in the History of Science and Medicine and an MSc from Oxford, and a BA from Chapman University.
