He helps clients secure financial leadership support during periods of transition, transformation, and rapid growth, with a focus on stabilizing finance functions and strengthening reporting. His work spans technology, healthcare, financial services, and business services, with additional expertise in finance transformation, M&A support, and private equity value creation initiatives. Zach earned his degree Phi Beta Kappa from Penn State University and began his career as a Teach for America corps member.

Andy is a Director in ECA Partners' Interim & Consulting Practice, specializing in placing interim and fractional CFOs, controllers, and finance consultants for private equity–backed and growth-stage companies. He partners with investors and executive teams to provide financial leadership support during periods of transition, transformation, and operational change. His work spans healthcare, life sciences, and business services, with additional expertise in finance transformation, M&A integration, and operational improvement initiatives. Andy earned his BBA in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of New Hampshire's Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
Steven Haug, PhD
Managing Director
Steven is a Managing Director at ECA Partners specializing in CFO placements for private equity–backed companies. He focuses on U.S.-based CFOs with mid-market and lower-middle-market transaction experience – carve-outs, add-ons, integrations, and debt refinancings. Most mandates are for manufacturing and industrials platforms, with additional experience across services, technology, distribution, consumer, retail, and food service. Before joining ECA, Steven taught and conducted research in 20th-century German philosophy and aesthetics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he earned his PhD.
