Liv Hanninen

Liv Hanninen is a Project Manager at ECA. Before joining ECA, Olivia attained her PhD in History from University of California, Irvine. As a Mellon-Sawyer Pre-Doctoral Fellow, she researched military death in late Imperial Russia, worked in archives across Moscow and St. Petersburg, and designed and taught undergraduate classes (her favorite was “A Global History of Soccer”).

In addition to a PhD from UC Irvine, Olivia also holds a MA in History from University College London and a BA in History from King’s College London. She is an avid marathon runner, cyclist, and long-suffering Southampton FC fan.
