Daniel Baker

Daniel Baker is a Project Manager at ECA Partners, where he leads talent searches across a spectrum of industries and functions. Drawing on his background in economics and law, he thrives in roles on finance, strategy, and legal teams.

Prior to joining ECA, Daniel taught graduate courses at Penn, Oxford, and UC Berkeley in economics, law, and policy analysis. He is a licensed attorney in Washington State, where he practiced law before pursuing advanced studies.

Daniel holds an economics degree from the University of Cambridge, a law degree from Duke University, and a Ph.D. in public policy from UC Berkeley. He is an avid golfer and chess player, who follows most American sports and reads extensively on the history of economics and philosophy.
