Company Background


Our client is a data security company backed by a top-20 PE firm. Their solutions enable their customers to identify and protect sensitive data and provide assistance with compliance auditing. They have been on a very exciting growth trajectory over the past two years (both organic and inorganic), making 9 acquisitions and scaling their product offerings significantly.


The Position


Our client is looking to bring in a seasoned HR professional to head up a team of 9 and be a key member of the senior leadership team during this critical growth phase.


The ideal candidate is an HR leader who is equally strong strategically and tactically, understands when to introduce key HR processes at the right stage of a company’s growth, and has experience championing DEI initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a human capital playbook that provides seamless integration of the new personnel:
    • Organization design, compensation plans, job descriptions, onboarding checklists, talent development plans, recruiting processes, etc.
  • Work across the organization and manage all HR-related acquisitions benchmarks
  • Develop and drive the execution of HR initiatives that produce a return on investment
  • Champion DEI initiatives
  • Assess the current HR platform and drive improvement initiatives
  • Effectively lead an HR team of 9



Qualifications and Candidate Background


The ideal candidate will:


  • Possess an instinct for and deep knowledge of recruiting, compliance, and other key human resources functions
  • Have exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to drive decisions across multiple stakeholders
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - able and willing to have tough conversations
  • Be an ego-less leader with high EQ



Location

The role is remote, with a preference for east coast time zones.
