Our client is a high-growth, PE-backed company in the tech hardware recycling industry focused on procuring, managing, and refurbishing IT assets, including best-in-class data destruction security.  

Backed by a Boston-based private equity firm and working with SMBs and F500 clients, our client has a strong growth trajectory in the IT assets disposal industry.  

The Position

Our client is looking for a General Manager, who will drive growth by overseeing the operational and financial performance of the company.  

The ideal candidate is an experienced operations professional with experience in managing production lines and personnel in manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, or transportation logistics and supply chain management.   

Primary responsibilities include: 

• Overseeing all daily operations and logistics, including production lines, shipping, budgeting, and scheduling 
• Monitoring, evaluating, and improving safety, quality, performance, and productivity 
• Managing all personnel across multiple functions, including production leaders, technicians, finance, sales, marketing, and IT teams 
• Analyzing accounting and financial data and work with finance team to manage P&L 
• Assisting CEO with all projects, plans, strategic initiatives, and priorities 



Qualifications and Candidate Background

The ideal candidate will have a/an: 

• Excellent track record managing operations across multiple functions, including production processes and personnel  
• Communicate effectively across the organization and work collaboratively with personnel to drive improvement  
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and manage a P&L 
• Highly organized approach to logistics with a hands-on mentality and strong problem-solving skills 
• Technical background required; academic background in engineering, computer science, or business preferred  
• Experience working in computer hardware, IT systems disposal, or electronics manufacturing is a plus  
• 3+ years in production/production control, inventory control, and P&L
