Senior Associate / Manager

Dallas, TX

The Company

Our client is a growth-oriented private equity firm with over $1Bn in assets under management. The firm has nearly 20 years of proven success in a variety of industries including healthcare and consumer, and is based in Dallas, TX.

The Role

The Senior Associate / Manager will support the firm’s portfolio by leading engagements from ideation to execution. Projects include driving operational performance improvements, developing go-to-market strategy, and supporting acquisition integration planning. Reporting directly to the Managing Director (ex-BCG), the ideal candidate is a high performer from a top strategy consulting firm with strong strategy and operational improvement experience. The role is highly visible and frequently partners with the Investment and Portfolio management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop value creation initiatives for portfolio companies to meet strategic investment goals.
  • Drive growth and profitability by leading operational improvement.
  • Drive effective post-merger integration strategy and execution for acquisitions.
  • Lead value creation initiatives for portfolio companies including go-to-market strategy, financial reporting, operational dashboarding, competitive research, pricing, and corporate strategy.
  • Support project management for key transformational initiatives within the portfolio.

Requirements and Desirable Skills
  • 3+ years of top-tier strategy consulting experience, ideally with a focus on growth strategy, operational improvement, and post-merger integration.
  • Strong ability to assess complex problems, develop a structured plan, and win buy-in across stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Excellent financial modeling and business analysis skills.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship development ability.
  • Strong self-starter – eager to take responsibility and “roll up their sleeves” to do whatever it takes to deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Results-oriented creative thinker with propensity to innovate and develop original ideas.
  • M&A and due-diligence experience is a strong nice-to-have.
  • MBA is strongly preferred but not required.
Location

The role is based in Dallas with a hybrid in-office schedule and 10% travel. A relocation package is available to the right candidate.
