Our client is a boutique advisory firm specializing in healthcare. They focus on providing due diligence and other strategic advisory services to private equity and other institutional investors in healthcare, offering a unique and deep understanding of the complex rules and regulations that can impact business goals and objectives.

The Position

Our client is looking for a dedicated problem solver with a passion for innovation in Healthcare Strategy. As a project lead, you will work with junior team members to own and deliver leading-edge solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients in the healthcare space. You will oversee research and analysis of market conditions, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify and prioritize drivers of success. This is an exciting role with rapid growth opportunities and the chance to have a direct and immediate impact on a range of private equity-backed healthcare clients.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Researching and analyzing market dynamics and shifts in the regulatory environment to minimize risk and maximize growth for healthcare clients
  • Recognizing and overcoming challenges in data gathering practices
  • Developing creative solutions and delivering them to clients in a timely manner
  • Managing client communications and writing executive-level syntheses of complex data and analyses
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting a collaborative environment

Qualifications and Candidate Background

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 2-5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or equity research
  • Experience extracting insights from both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to build and lead teams with the right mix of skills and experience for each client, while engaging team members in productive collaboration
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speech
  • Ability to distill complex analytical models for presentation to executive audiences 
  • Strong interest in mentoring junior team members
  • General knowledge of the healthcare market preferred; desire to work in healthcare a must
  • MBA strongly preferred


The position is remote with 10-20% travel.
