- Our client, a former BCG consultant at a private equity firm, identified an opportunity to revamp their pricing strategy
- They sought a consultant that will help them create a fast track process for its U.S. based business to reduce the need for long lead time R&D, industrialization, and supply planning activities
Objectives / Results Achieved
- Redesigned current state process mapping of existing 12-month product timeline
- Improved codification and development of database for fast track products and critical requirements
- Developed future state process development to ensure 4 month lead time
- Ensured supplier development, negotiations, and collaboration plan to reduce existing lead times for critical components
- Conducted S&OP and demand planning process to ensure proper planning for new potential demand and lead time requirement
- Developed pricing strategy and sales terms to win the business while considering implications on margin and risk associated with the new potential customer base
- Leveraged sales effectiveness tools and training to ensure proper communication of new offering in the field
