Our client, a leading private equity firm for middle-market companies, was looking for an Interim CFO for one of their portfolio companies who is in the textile distribution business with $40M of EBITDA. Their CFO requirement quickly became urgent due to unforeseen changes after the transaction was completed for this particular platform deal.

Client Situation:

ECA was contacted with an interim CFO need, because of our strong interim finance practice. We were able to successfully place a strong CFO with the exact requirements in less than 5 days. The CFO successfully: Drove annual financial planning and budgeting activities, provided leadership and guidance for inflight acquisition targets (including a few currently under LOI), partnered with CEO, COO, and CRO to distill the overall goals of the business into financial milestones using budgets, forecasts, operational KPIs, and effective department monitoring tools, and served as interim team lead to existing finance and accounting function.
