Client / Situation
- Our client, an ex-BCG consultant at an innovative entertainment company, sought support in creating opportunities for transformational experiences
- The Director of Strategy & Analytics is expected to provide analytical rigor, project management skills, and strategic insight to a broad range of projects for both the theater and real estate teams, and drive growth strategies, competitive positioning, and project management across the parent company’s two theater brands and real estate portfolio
Objectives / Mandate
- Provide insight and competitive intelligence to inform brand strategy and positioning
- Explore customer needs and identify unmet (or emerging) needs across the theater and real estate industries
- Perform in-depth analyses of the company’s various businesses across functional areas (development, operational performance, guest experience, product, marketing, etc.) to recommend strategic opportunities and identify potential threats to the business
- Be the point person for multiple ongoing strategic initiatives, often handling several projects at the same time
- Research and identify ongoing business opportunities and trends to drive the strategy of the theater business
- Strategic analysis for various real estate assets to drive acquisition and development strategy
- Effectively communicate with senior leadership and project teams to influence change by crafting compelling stories and presenting findings and recommendations
