Client / Situation
  • Our client, a leading provider of asset tracking services, was looking to add a co-CEO position to a talented leadership team
  • This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the market-facing elements of the business with the key objective of expanding the topline through re-evaluating every aspect of the current sales and marketing operations to design and execute against the current strategic plan and product roadmap
Objectives / Mandate
  • Drive growth through a focus on market-facing and operational elements of the business
  • Act as a thought partner to the board and current leadership team
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, competitor activity, market dynamics, and unmet needs to help the company focus on most viable market segments
  • Re-evaluate the current sales and marketing operations including improving inbound lead generation, conversation, and marketing effectiveness, and defining and continuously improving outbound sales process to produce repeatable and scalable results
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Monitor and improve the resources needed to achieve objectives, including personnel, technology, processes, etc.
  • Hire, manage, motivate, and develop the sales & marketing team to meet quarterly objectives
